صحرا کی تپتی ریت پر تنہا کھڑا ہوں میں
اپنی ہی کھوئی جستجو کی راہ پر پڑا ہوں میں

چاروں طرف ہے بکھری ہوئی خاموشی کا دور
سائے کی ایک آس میں کب سے اڑا ہوں میں

پیاسی زمین پوچھتی ہے منزل کا راستہ
اپنے ہی نقشِ پا کی سمت میں بڑھا ہوں میں

سرابِ زندگی نے دکھائے کئی روپ
پھر بھی امیدِ صبح کی چاہ میں کھڑا ہوں میں

تقدیر کے اس دشت میں تنہا سہی مگر
رب کی رضا کے ساتھ مسلسل چلا ہوں میں

Sehra ki tapti reet par tanha khada hoon main,
Apni hi khoyi justuju ki raah par pada hoon main.

Charon taraf hai bikhri hui khamoshi ka daur,
Saaye ki ek aas mein kab se aada hoon main.

Pyasi zameen poochti hai manzil ka raasta,
Apne hi naqsh-e-paa ki simat mein badha hoon main.

Sarab-e-zindagi ne dikhaye kayi roop,
Phir bhi umeed-e-subah ki chah mein khada hoon main.

Taqdeer ke iss dasht mein tanha sahi magar,
Rabb ki reza ke sath mukammal chala hoon main.

English Translation

Alone I stand upon the desert’s burning sand,
Tracing a forgotten journey in a sunlit land.

Silence surrounds my heart under the boundless sky,
Seeking a drop of shade as quiet hours pass by.

The thirsty earth inquires where my steps may lead,
Following my own tracks in this hour of need.

Life's many mirages tried to lead my eyes astray,
Yet I stand firm, awaiting dawn’s bright ray.

Though solitary in destiny’s wide, dry domain,
Walking with divine faith through shadow and pain.
